David Yurman seeks a Video Editor Intern for its paid, nine-week Summer 2027 program in New York City, running June 7–August 6, 2027, with a hybrid work location. The intern will support e-commerce video editing, asset management, and product color and retouching, with an estimated pay rate of $25 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ingest and tag footage daily.
- Manage assets and set up, organize, and archive projects according to best practices.
- Perform assistant editor-level edits, including assemblies and string-outs from rough cuts through light color work.
- Focus on product color and retouching.
- Apply color best practices within the established workflow.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field, such as Film & Video Production, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Working experience with any non-linear editing (NLE) software; DaVinci Resolve preferred.
- Working proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder.
- Flame or Nuke experience is a bonus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and collaborative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
