David Yurman is hiring a Seasonal Shipping Clerk in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, to manage domestic and international shipping, receive and distribute inbound products, and support inventory accuracy and logistics processes. The regular shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; holiday schedules may flex among 5:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m., 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., and 1:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m. Pay is $18 per hour, and minimal travel may be required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, transact, and ship merchandise, components, and non-merchandise products.
- Meet productivity goals and measurements set by Logistics Management.
- Create shipping labels and prepare orders for shipment via FedEx, UPS, and Brinks.
- Report overages, shortages, and picking inaccuracies to management, and maintain inventory integrity.
- Assist management with departmental projects and responsibilities.
- Receive and dispatch deliveries.
- Deliver received packages to the appropriate departments.
- Ensure each shipment includes accurate packaging and documentation.
- Plan, balance, and complete orders involving packaging materials, components, and finished goods.
- Communicate and suggest improvements to increase the effectiveness of shipping and receiving processes, systems, and procedures, recommending enhancements as needed.
- Keep the work area and shipping supplies clean, organized, appropriately stored, and adequately stocked.
- Handle domestic and international outbound shipments of merchandise and non-merchandise products across all business channels, and receive and distribute inbound products to the appropriate departments.
- Minimal travel may be required.
