David Yurman is seeking an Events Intern for a paid, 9-week immersive program running June 7–August 6, 2027, based in New York, NY, with a hybrid work arrangement. The intern will support event and experiential marketing operations, logistics and execution, vendor coordination, invitations, agreements, expense processing, and on-site event delivery. Estimated pay is $25 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the events and experiential marketing team.
- Coordinate event logistics and execution, including researching vendors, requesting invitations, securing and booking catering, experiential elements, music, décor, staffing, and gifts.
- Monitor and manage invitations for retail and wholesale events through Creative Request Forms (CRFs), ensuring timely delivery and accurate copy and details.
- Maintain and build vendor contact sheets; research vendors in each market and ensure they meet brand standards.
- Support logistics and execution for Market Weeks, including researching restaurants and offsite activities and organizing office hospitality, catering, menus, staffing, invitations, décor, and gifts.
- Work with the legal team on commercial co-venture and talent appearance agreements ahead of retail events.
- Process and file invoices, reconcile expenses for retail and wholesale events and markets, and code expenses to budget.
- Provide on-site support for retail, wholesale, and branding events.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field, such as Event Management, Hospitality Management, or Communications, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
