David Yurman is hiring a paid Buying Intern for a nine-week hybrid program in New York, NY, running June 7–August 6, 2027. The intern will support stock balancing, reporting and process improvement, planning-system implementation, and store merchandise communications; estimated pay is $25 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze inventory and sales data to consolidate product allocations to top-performing stores, maintain optimal stock levels, and maximize sales potential.
- Streamline and update reporting tools and processes to align with new workflows and ongoing system upgrades.
- Liaise between planning teams and implementation stakeholders during the rollout of a new planning system, providing insight and support for a smooth transition.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for merchandise-related inquiries and requests from store teams, providing prompt and accurate responses.
Qualifications
- Must understand Excel, Adobe Suite, and PowerPoint.
- Must be currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field and have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Fashion Merchandising (Buying), Business Administration, or Retail Planning preferred.
