Damiani Group is seeking a Senior Legal Specialist for its Legal function in Mendrisio, supporting business and corporate functions on domestic and international contracts, legal risk and operational and strategic matters. The role involves international stakeholders and projects and requires a pragmatic, proactive, business-oriented approach.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage commercial contracts, including Distribution Agreements, Agency Agreements, Franchising Agreements, License Agreements and JV Agreements, as well as real estate and supply chain contracts, from drafting and review through negotiation, supporting business and corporate functions.
- Provide legal support to business functions in response to their operational and strategic needs.
- Support negotiations and relationship management with clients, partners, suppliers and other stakeholders, including internationally.
- Identify and assess key legal risks, proposing pragmatic solutions aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with external Italian and international legal counsel as needed.
- Contribute to the development and updating of legal templates, guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications
- Degree in Law.
- Admission to the legal profession and prior professional practice experience are preferred.
- Experience with domestic and international contracts.
- Knowledge of the retail sector; experience in luxury, lifestyle and design, beauty and cosmetics, or consumer goods is preferred.
- Excellent English; French is an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage activities independently.
- Ability to work in an international and dynamic environment.

Degree in Law.
