Comadur SA, Boncourt: Industrialisation Project Manager position leading hard-material component manufacturing projects within the Swatch Group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multiple industrialisation projects from conception through production launch, managing both technical and administrative aspects
- Conduct feasibility studies, design-of-experiments on-site, prepare test reports, develop detailed specifications, issue tender requests, and perform comparative technical analysis
- Manage supplier relationships during manufacturing phases, oversee machine trials and commissioning, and provide training and knowledge transfer to production teams
- Research, develop, and industrialise innovative manufacturing processes for hard-material components
- Ensure technical stability and reliability of implemented equipment and processes
- Provide production support for problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct multi-site travel as needed across company facilities
Qualifications
- Advanced engineering diploma (HES Ingénieur or equivalent) or technical technician qualification (ET)
- Demonstrated experience managing industrial projects involving automation and manufacturing processes
- Expertise across multiple disciplines: mechanical engineering, automation, process engineering, and hard-material-specific manufacturing
- Proven track record in automation and hard-material process implementation
- Native-level French, with strong English and German proficiency
- Proficiency in standard office and engineering software tools
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial project management, with proven expertise in both automation systems and manufacturing process optimisation. Demonstrated success leading multi-phase technical projects from concept to production implementation.
Education
HES Engineering degree or Technical Technician (ET) qualification, or equivalent advanced technical qualification in mechanical or process engineering.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Boncourt, Jura, Switzerland, with easy access to Basel.
