Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a consistently elevated client experience at the point of sale, reflecting Coach’s luxury standards and brand tone of voice.
- Operate the POS system to process sales, returns, exchanges, gift cards and multi-payment transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle cash, credit and electronic payments; reconcile tills and prepare daily cash reports in accordance with store procedures.
- Maintain visual standards at the checkout area, assist with merchandising and ensure the store environment meets presentation and loss-prevention policies.
- Resolve client inquiries and complaints professionally, escalate complex issues to store management and follow up to ensure client satisfaction.
- Support inventory control activities including receiving, tagging, and assisting with stock audits and shrink-prevention initiatives.
- Coach and mentor junior cashiers or seasonal staff when required and participate in product and service training sessions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail, hospitality or related fields is advantageous.
- Demonstrable numeracy and strong attention to detail required for cash handling and daily reconciliation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven commitment to delivering luxury-level client service.
- Availability to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and peak seasonal periods.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks associated with retail operations.
