Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipate needs and deliver personalized service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
- Operate POS and Mobile POS devices accurately, manage cash/media in accordance with company policy and maintain an organized cash wrap.
- Receive, process and organize incoming shipments and inter-store transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness.
- Monitor and replenish sales floor stock levels, support visual merchandising updates and ensure product presentation meets brand standards.
- Promote add-on items and gift cards, capture customer information where permitted and support social media engagement as a brand ambassador.
- Assist colleagues and management with sales floor activities, respond to customer requests confidently and adhere to Loss Prevention procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping standards, perform physical tasks including lifting (regularly up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs), bending and climbing as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment; combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitor activity in the marketplace.
- Proven ability to operate cash register systems and Mobile POS; comfortable using iPad, laptop and internet-enabled tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume retail setting.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of retail experience is required, with preference given to candidates who have worked in luxury or premium retail settings and have handled cashiering, stockroom operations and customer-facing responsibilities.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and retail experience will be considered.
