Coach is hiring a Temporary Sales Associate (part-time) in Pittsburgh, PA — deliver luxury retail service and omni-channel selling at Ross Park Mall.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized luxury service in accordance with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and sustain client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, tailored recommendations, and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling, omni-channel selling and execution of personal sales plans and KPIs.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video and live-stream shopping) to capture client data and convert interest into sales.
- Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory receiving and processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and online order pickups.
- Maintain an organized, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom while following POS procedures, asset protection and retail policies.
- Support team performance by assisting colleagues across functional areas and participating in brand initiatives, training and inclusion activities.
- Provide efficient transaction processing for purchases, returns, exchanges and omnichannel fulfilment; support inventory cycles and stock management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and to execute personal sales plans.
- Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); experience with mobile POS, clienteling systems, and data capture.
- Social media savvy with experience in short-form video or live-stream shopping preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and to perform physical tasks on the sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail or fashion; proven track record of customer acquisition, relationship management and meeting sales KPIs.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; retail or fashion-related coursework or vocational training preferred.
