Coach in New York, NY seeks a Temporary Sales Associate to deliver luxury client service and support boutique sales and operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, personalized service to clients and cultivate long-term relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and contribute to store sales targets by actively engaging customers and driving conversions.
- Process sales transactions, exchanges and returns accurately using the store point-of-sale system and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain boutique presentation through visual merchandising, replenishment, accurate tagging and stockroom organization.
- Support loss-prevention procedures and ensure compliance with store policies, brand standards and local regulations.
- Participate in store operational tasks including opening/closing duties, receiving deliveries and assisting with promotional events and inventory counts.
- Adapt to changing priorities and cover peak periods, weekends and evenings as required for a temporary assignment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail or customer-service experience; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-touch customer service and build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and holiday periods for temporary coverage.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail for cash handling, transactions and stock management.
- Professional presentation, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Experience
Entry-level retail role requiring approximately 1+ years of customer-facing or sales experience; prior luxury retail or boutique experience is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
