Coach is hiring a Temporary Sales Associate in New York, NY. Deliver luxury client service and support retail operations on a temporary contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service that reflects Coach’s luxury positioning and builds long-term client relationships.
- Achieve individual and store sales objectives through proactive selling, clienteling and follow-up.
- Operate the point-of-sale system to process sales, exchanges and returns accurately, and handle cash and card transactions following company procedures.
- Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation standards; execute floor moves, window displays and signage as directed.
- Support inventory management activities including receiving, stocking, cycle counts and loss-prevention procedures.
- Assist with daily store opening and closing tasks, ensuring a safe, organized and welcoming retail environment.
- Communicate client needs and market feedback to store leadership to support service improvement and stock allocation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship (local hiring requirements may apply).
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Professional appearance and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work on a temporary assignment with variable scheduling.

Experience
Previous retail or luxury sales experience is preferred but not mandatory; 0–2 years in customer-facing retail roles is acceptable. Demonstrated success in client service, upselling and use of POS systems is an advantage.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
