Coach in Michigan City, IN is hiring a Temporary Sales Associate (part-time) to deliver luxury retail service and omni-channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering personalized, elevated luxury service in accordance with Coach service and style standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Execute omni-channel selling using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to acquire customer data and convert sales.
- Develop and pursue personal sales plans to meet or exceed individual and store KPIs through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations.
- Perform daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), cash wrap duties, inventory receiving and replenishment.
- Maintain visual merchandising and high standards of floor and stockroom presentation; follow POS procedures, asset-protection and retail policies.
- Support inventory cycles and loss-prevention processes; assist teammates across functional areas as business needs require.
- Maintain composure and professionalism during peak periods; manage multiple customers on the sales floor while sustaining service standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and work in a fast-paced retail environment; strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); familiarity with mobile POS and clienteling tools.
- Social-media savvy with experience or comfort using short-form video/live shopping and social selling techniques (preferred).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and navigate the sales floor and stockroom.
- Strong English language proficiency.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of retail or sales experience; prior experience in luxury retail or brand-driven boutique environments preferred. Experience using POS and clienteling technologies and executing omni-channel selling is highly desirable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or post-secondary study in fashion, retail or business is advantageous. A combination of formal education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
