Coach in Lisbon seeks a Temporary Sales Associate (part-time) to deliver luxury client service, drive omni-channel sales and support store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador for Coach, consistently delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Provide personalised styling and product advice to build lasting client relationships and loyalty.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and bespoke recommendations.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture client data, drive omni-channel sales and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans and maintain accurate client records; support team KPIs.
  • Execute daily store operations: cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and efficient transaction processing (purchases, returns, online pickups).
  • Support inventory cycles including receiving shipments, stocking and product movement; maintain a well-organised sales floor and stockroom.
  • Adapt selling techniques to fluctuating footfall, manage multiple customers on the floor, and assist teammates across functional areas.
  • Uphold retail policies, POS and asset-protection procedures while fostering a collaborative, trust-based team environment.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; accept feedback and maintain a calm, professional demeanour.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience operating POS systems and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS).
  • Familiarity with clienteling practices, sales data capture and social/live-stream selling techniques (preferred).
  • Ability to read price/release sheets and use retail communication devices such as walkie-talkies.
  • Capacity to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Strong English language proficiency (required).

Experience

At least 1 year of retail sales experience, ideally within luxury or premium fashion; demonstrable success meeting sales targets and using clienteling/omni-channel retail tools.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail or customer service training advantageous. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
