Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, personalised client service on the sales floor to build relationships and convert visits into sales.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle cash, cards and returns according to store policy.
  • Support visual merchandising and store presentation, ensuring displays reflect brand standards and seasonal directives.
  • Manage stockroom operations: receive and unpack shipments, perform inventory counts, replenish sales floor stock and organise backstock.
  • Assist with clienteling activities and CRM entries to support follow-up and retention initiatives.
  • Conduct routine opening/closing duties, maintain store cleanliness and adhere to loss-prevention procedures.
  • Prepare basic sales and inventory reports for store management and escalate operational issues as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating POS systems and handling cash transactions with accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and peak-season hours.
  • Physical ability to perform retail duties, including standing for long periods and lifting/handling merchandise.
  • Professional demeanour appropriate for a luxury retail environment and commitment to brand standards.

Experience

Temporary or seasonal retail experience is required; 1+ year of prior experience in luxury or premium-brand retail is strongly preferred. Candidates with demonstrated sales performance and clienteling experience will be prioritised.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail or customer-service training is advantageous.
