Coach in Halton Hills, Ontario seeks a Temporary Acting Store Manager. Hourly CAD $27.50–$40.00; lead sales, operations and people.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store performance—drive sales, profitability and productivity across all channels.
- Develop and execute local business plans responsive to customer needs and market trends.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences through personalised clienteling and service excellence.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and retain a diverse, high-performing sales team; set goals and provide meaningful feedback.
- Manage daily store operations including inventory control, payroll administration and loss prevention.
- Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation meet brand standards and inspire customers.
- Optimise staffing and scheduling to meet business demands and deliver seamless service.
- Resolve customer issues with empathy and professionalism, protecting brand reputation.
- Communicate effectively with team members, peers and corporate partners to align on goals and initiatives.
- Act as a brand ambassador within the store and the local community.
Qualifications
- 1–6 years of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion background a strong plus.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams to deliver results and exceptional service.
- Strong business acumen with focus on sales, margin and operational excellence.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with retail systems (labor management, inventory and sales reporting).
- Knowledge of fashion trends, competitive landscape and aptitude for digital engagement.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Skills
Experience
Between 1 and 6 years of leadership experience in retail or service environments; experience in luxury or fashion retail is desirable. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management or a related discipline preferred.

This position is based in Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada, within easy reach of Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 27.50 to CAD 40 per hour.
