Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of technical design specifications for retail and merchandising collections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, merchandising, and production, to ensure product quality and adherence to design intent.
  • Conduct fit sessions and make necessary adjustments to ensure garment fit and construction meet brand standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of technical specifications and revisions.
  • Support the technical design team in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical design, preferably in the luxury fashion industry.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction and fit.
  • Proficiency in technical design software such as Adobe Illustrator and CAD.

Skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience

1-3 years of experience in technical design, preferably in the luxury fashion industry.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field.
