Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Supervisor II in Cabazon, California — part‑time retail supervisor role at the Cabazon Coffee Shop.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop sales floor and back‑of‑house teams to deliver exceptional client service and meet sales targets.
- Drive daily operations including staffing, shift scheduling, cash handling, opening/closing procedures and floor recovery.
- Manage inventory, stockroom organization and replenishment; receive shipments and support merchandising execution to brand standards.
- Deliver in‑store visual merchandising and product presentation consistent with seasonal directives and promotional activity.
- Enforce loss prevention, safety and compliance procedures; maintain ADA accommodations and a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular performance feedback, training sessions and development planning for direct reports.
- Support escalated client issues with diplomatic resolution and preserve the brand’s reputation for customer focus.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail or hospitality, preferably within luxury or premium brands.
- Demonstrable coaching and people‑development capability with a track record of improving team performance.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle escalations calmly and professionally.
- Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and work on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays; reliable transportation to Cabazon, CA.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Experience
Typically 2+ years of supervisory or team‑lead experience in retail or customer‑facing environments, with demonstrated success driving sales, coaching staff and executing merchandising plans.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant retail or business coursework or post‑secondary education preferred.
