Coach in New York seeks a Lead Store Supervisor to lead retail teams, drive sales and uphold luxury standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the store sales team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Develop and execute clienteling strategies using CRM to build long-term relationships and maximize repeat business.
- Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, visual merchandising adherence and store presentation standards.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving procedures and discrepancy resolution in coordination with loss prevention.
- Create staff schedules, conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing training and support recruitment/onboarding of new hires.
- Drive conversion and average transaction value through proactive selling, product knowledge and promotional execution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, cash-handling procedures and local regulatory requirements; escalate customer issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail, preferably within a premium or luxury fashion brand.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs and coaching teams to perform.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on client relationship-building and service recovery.
- Experience with inventory management, merchandising standards and basic loss-prevention practices.
- Availability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Typically requires 2+ years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role within a premium or luxury environment; demonstrated success driving sales and developing store teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational retail or management training and post-secondary study in business or fashion preferred.
