Coach seeks Acting Lead Supervisor I in Newton, Massachusetts. Lead retail operations, manage teams, and drive results. $16–$24.75/hr, full-time with benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage retail floor operations and team performance
- Oversee stockroom and inventory management activities
- Develop and mentor direct reports with challenging assignments and career discussions
- Foster team morale, communication, and inclusive workplace culture
- Drive results and exceed sales and operational goals consistently
- Provide direct feedback to team members and manage performance discussions
- Ensure adherence to Coach brand standards and customer service excellence
- Build effective teams and delegate responsibilities appropriately
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or lead experience in retail or customer-facing environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to diverse teams
- Demonstrated ability to exceed goals and drive results
- Experience developing and managing direct reports
- Ability to build effective, cohesive teams
- Physical capacity to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Supervisory or lead-level experience in retail, hospitality, or similar customer-focused environments. Demonstrated track record of exceeding performance goals and building high-performing teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management training or certification a plus.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16 to USD 24.75 per hour.
