Coach is hiring a Lead Supervisor in New York, NY to lead store operations, coach the retail team and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations to ensure operational excellence, adherence to brand standards and compliance with cash-handling and security procedures.
- Coach, develop and motivate the sales team through ongoing feedback, performance management and in-store training to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Drive client acquisition, retention and personalised clientelling to maximise customer lifetime value and deliver an elevated luxury experience.
- Own merchandising and visual presentation to maintain store standards, implement promotional plans and optimise product placement.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment and regular stocktakes to minimise shrinkage and ensure product availability.
- Prepare staff schedules, support workforce planning and ensure appropriate staffing levels for peak trading periods, including weekends and holidays.
- Resolve customer issues professionally and escalate as appropriate; support store leadership with administrative and reporting tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail, preferably within luxury, premium fashion or accessories.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing sales performance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and develop retail teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and holiday trading periods.

Experience
Typically 2–4 years of retail experience with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role; experience in luxury or premium fashion retail strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management or fashion preferred but not mandatory.
