Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily boutique operations at the Chengdu IFS location, ensuring consistent delivery of Coach brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Drive sales performance and conversion by coaching the sales floor, implementing clienteling strategies, and managing key performance indicators.
  • Supervise, mentor and develop sales associates through ongoing feedback, training and performance reviews to build a high-performing team.
  • Manage inventory controls, receiving, stock replenishment and periodic stock counts to minimise shrinkage and ensure availability.
  • Coordinate staffing, shift scheduling and store opening/closing procedures while ensuring compliance with cash-handling and POS protocols.
  • Resolve customer escalations with composure and brand-appropriate service, maintaining long-term client relationships and recovery standards.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and in-store training initiatives in partnership with district leadership and HR.
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily/weekly sales reports and assist with local marketing or event activations.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate retail teams in a luxury or premium brand environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric approach to service.
  • Solid organisational aptitude and attention to detail for inventory and administrative tasks.
  • Capacity to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays, and to manage variable shift patterns.
  • Professional demeanour aligned with luxury retail standards.

Experience

Typically requires at least 2 years of supervisory or assistant-manager experience within luxury or premium retail; prior experience with leather goods, accessories or fashion boutiques is advantageous.
