Coach seeks a Sales Associate in New York, NY to deliver luxury client service, drive sales and support in-store visual merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised service to luxury clients through active clienteling and relationship building.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets via consultative selling and product knowledge.
- Maintain elevated standards of visual merchandising and store presentation consistent with brand guidelines.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process transactions, returns and exchanges accurately and securely.
- Manage stockroom procedures including receiving, inventory counts and replenishment.
- Support in-store marketing initiatives and promotional events, including client outreach and follow-up.
- Ensure loss-prevention protocols and cash-handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with store management and colleagues to maintain a cohesive, customer-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver high-touch customer service with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; confident selling and upselling capabilities.
- Familiarity with visual merchandising principles and attention to presentation detail.
- Reliable numeracy and experience handling cash and POS transactions.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and holiday periods.
- Right to work in the United States (if applicable for this location).

Experience
Preferably 1–2 years of retail experience, ideally within luxury or premium fashion brands, with a demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and maintaining client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary study in fashion, retail, hospitality or business is advantageous but not required.
