Coach Sales Support Associate in New York — entry-level retail role supporting sales, merchandising and client service at Coach in New York City.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support in-store sales by assisting clients through the buying journey, answering product questions and executing clienteling activities.
  • Operate point-of-sale transactions, process returns/exchanges and ensure accurate cash handling and till reconciliation.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards on the sales floor, execute product replenishment and sustain an organized, shoppable environment.
  • Manage stockroom operations including receiving, tagging, inventory counts and timely replenishment to the sales floor.
  • Provide administrative support to store management: schedule appointments, update CRM/client databases and prepare periodic sales reports.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, health & safety compliance and ad hoc tasks to ensure seamless store operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or customer-service training is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable customer-service orientation with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
  • Basic numeracy for cash handling and transaction processing; attention to detail in merchandising and inventory tasks.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (if applying for the New York location).
