Role & Responsibilities
- Drive store sales, profitability and productivity across channels to achieve and exceed targets.
- Develop and execute local business plans in response to customer needs and market trends.
- Champion a service-first culture through personalised clienteling and elevated customer experiences.
- Coach, inspire and develop a diverse, high-performing retail team; set targets and deliver regular feedback.
- Recruit, onboard and retain talent who embody the Coach brand values.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, payroll, scheduling and loss prevention.
- Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation consistently meet brand standards.
- Resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism to protect brand reputation.
- Collaborate with peers and corporate partners to align on initiatives and performance priorities.
- Act as a visible brand ambassador within the store and the local community.
Qualifications
- 1–6 years of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion experience is an advantage.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop retail teams to achieve results.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on sales, margin and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build trust and rapport.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with retail systems (labor management, inventory and sales reporting).
- Knowledge of fashion trends, competitor activity and digital/social engagement tactics.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, public holidays and peak retail periods.
- Strong English language proficiency.
Skills
Experience
Between 1 and 6 years of supervisory or management experience in retail or customer-facing service environments. Experience in luxury or fashion retail is preferred; combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Education
Secondary education required; tertiary qualification in business, retail management, hospitality or a related field is preferred. A combination of formal education and demonstrable retail experience is acceptable.
Workplace
This position is based in Landquart, Grisons, Switzerland, within easy reach of Zurich.
