Coach Store Manager I position in Yonkers, NY. Lead retail operations, drive sales, and manage teams in this full-time leadership role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong leadership presence on the sales floor to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Serve as a Brand Ambassador embodying Coach values and increasing brand awareness throughout the store
- Lead implementation of company initiatives and support full operation of the business
- Monitor and analyze sales data, identify trends, and make recommendations to enhance store performance
- Execute individualized team development to increase overall customer experience
- Exemplify strong business acumen and execute forward-planned strategies to achieve leadership initiatives surrounding store goals and KPIs
- Support store recruitment, interviewing, performance evaluation, and high-level training as needed
- Provide necessary feedback and guidance to improve individual performance at all levels; hold team accountable for achieving individual and business goals
- Adhere to and enforce team compliance of company policies and procedures in addition to store operational procedures
- Assist in executing innovative strategies for exceptional customer experiences for both internal and external partners
- Create a customer-centric culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction and mentor team on clienteling strategy to build long-term customer relationships
- Provide HR and conflict resolution support to team and district in the absence of leadership team
- Champion company resources to support a healthy work environment for internal customers
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of equivalent experience managing competitive retail space at the Lead Supervisor level
- Proven ability to maintain strong leadership presence and achieve sales targets
- Demonstrated experience in team building, recruitment, and performance management
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Embodiment of Coach core competencies including Courage, Creativity, Customer Focus, Dealing with Ambiguity, Drive for Results, Interpersonal Savvy, and Learning on the Fly
- People management competencies including Strategic Agility, Developing Direct Reports and Others, and Building Effective Teams
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1+ years of equivalent experience managing competitive retail space at the Lead Supervisor level or equivalent retail management background. Proven track record of achieving sales targets, building high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a luxury or premium retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management certification or relevant coursework preferred.
