Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store performance by driving sales, profitability and productivity across channels while executing strategic business plans responsive to local market dynamics.
- Create and sustain a service-first culture through personalised clienteling and consistently excellent customer interactions.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and develop a diverse, high-performing team; set clear goals, deliver feedback and recognise achievements.
- Manage daily store operations including inventory control, payroll, loss prevention, staffing and scheduling to meet business demand.
- Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation meet brand standards and inspire customer engagement.
- Resolve customer concerns with empathy, urgency and professionalism and represent the brand in-store and within the community.
- Communicate effectively with corporate partners and peers to align on initiatives, targets and operational priorities.
Qualifications
- 1–6 years of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion background is a plus; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop and retain front-line retail talent and to build collaborative teams.
- Demonstrable business acumen with a focus on sales results, budgeting and operational excellence.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; capable of fostering trust and clarity across all levels.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre throughout sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Between one and six years of supervisory or managerial experience in retail or service environments; proven track record hitting sales targets and developing front-line teams. Luxury or fashion retail experience is advantageous.
Education
Combination of education and experience will be considered; equivalent professional experience in retail management is acceptable.
