Coach is hiring a Store Manager for its Jersey Gardens Coffee Shop in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Oversee operations, lead teams, and deliver excellence. $75K–$80K.
Role & Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and mentor coffee shop staff to uphold Coach brand standards and company policies
- Provide ongoing coaching, conduct performance reviews, and address performance improvement areas
- Foster a culture of teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement across the team
- Monitor sales performance and ensure revenue targets are consistently met
- Manage budgets, control expenses, and track cash flow to maximize profitability
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, facility cleaning, and light maintenance tasks
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food sanitation standards and regulations
- Maintain high-quality standards for coffee and food preparation; ensure adherence to recipes and guidelines
- Implement customer feedback to improve service delivery and enhance overall experience
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, payroll, and operational data
- Prepare regular reports on performance metrics and operational KPIs
- Conduct safety and sanitation training for staff members
- Troubleshoot operational issues such as equipment malfunctions or supply shortages
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in retail or food & beverage management
- Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) systems and scheduling software
- Strong understanding of budgeting, sales tracking, and inventory management
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve effectively and maintain a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver both sales floor and stockroom areas
Skills
Experience
3+ years in retail or food & beverage management, with demonstrated success in leading teams, managing P&L operations, and delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to USD 80,000 per annum.
