Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily cash operations including opening/closing procedures, register assignments and till reconciliation to ensure cash accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Perform and oversee POS transactions, returns and exchanges while maintaining a premium level of client service consistent with brand standards.
  • Train, mentor and schedule cashiers; monitor performance and provide on-floor coaching to improve service, speed and loss-prevention awareness.
  • Investigate and resolve cash discrepancies, prepare daily deposit and variance reports, and escalate unresolved issues to store management.
  • Enforce cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures, assist with internal audits and ensure adherence to company security protocols.
  • Support the store management team with operational tasks, merchandising assistance during peak periods and ad hoc administrative duties.

Qualifications

  • Proven reliability with a record of accurate cash handling and currency reconciliation.
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail; ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly and calmly.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills with experience coaching frontline staff.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, evenings and holiday periods.
  • Eligibility to work in the hiring country and willingness to undergo background and cash-handling checks.

Experience

Typically requires at least 2 years of retail cash-handling experience with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity; prior experience in a premium or luxury retail environment is preferred.
