Coach is hiring a Sales Associate in New York (Hudson Yards). Part‑time role delivering luxury client service and omni‑channel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the frontline ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently applying Coach Guide to Style and Service standards to every customer interaction.
  • Deliver personalized styling and product advice to build long‑term client relationships and drive repeat business.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross‑selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans; capture client data to support clienteling strategies.
  • Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short‑form video) to convert traffic and facilitate omni‑channel fulfilment (in‑store purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups).
  • Maintain the sales floor and stockroom—receive shipments, replenish stock, process inventory and complete cash‑wrap duties while upholding visual merchandising and asset‑protection procedures.
  • Adapt to peak traffic and multiple customers on the floor; support teammates across functional areas and participate in brand training and inclusion initiatives.
  • Perform required physical tasks safely (regularly lift ~25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs) and follow all retail policies and loss‑prevention protocols.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail background preferred. A combination of education and retail experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrable experience operating POS systems and mobile POS devices (iPad/laptop); familiarity with inventory processes and cash handling.
  • Strong English communication skills required.
  • Social‑media savvy with experience in social selling, live‑stream shopping or video demos is preferred; proven clienteling and data‑capture skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays; comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Experience

At least one year of retail sales experience, preferably within luxury or fashion; demonstrable track record of meeting sales KPIs and working with mobile POS and clienteling systems.
