Coach, a global fashion house and member of the Tapestry portfolio, seeks a Sales Support Associate to enhance store operations and customer service. The role combines cashier responsibilities, stock management, and customer engagement to support the store's overall efficiency and brand commitment. The successful candidate will maintain POS accuracy, process shipments, manage inventory levels, and deliver personalized customer assistance in a fast-paced retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and providing personalized assistance
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and in the local market, supporting social media engagement
- Operate POS systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and payment media in compliance with company policy
- Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted by policy
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness
- Manage stock levels, replenish sales floor merchandise, and execute visual merchandising updates
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests confidently, and partner with team members and management as needed
- Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of previous retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably in a luxury retail service environment
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet navigation
- Ability to use walkie talkies, read price sheets, and interpret product release documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally; capacity to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Minimum one year of previous retail experience such as cashier work, stock management, or sales. A combination of related education and practical experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
