Coach in Kuala Lumpur hires Senior Sales Associate to deliver luxury client experiences and drive omnichannel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently applying Coach Guide to Style and Service standards to every client interaction.
- Deliver personalised styling and product advice to build lasting client relationships and drive repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales KPIs through cross-selling, upselling and strategic recommendations.
- Execute omnichannel selling: capture client data, process in-store and online transactions, and facilitate online order pickups and returns.
- Use mobile POS and clienteling tools to record client preferences, follow up leads and convert sales.
- Maintain sales floor standards including visual merchandising, replenishment and merchandise presentation.
- Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, process inventory, stock the salesfloor and manage product movement.
- Complete daily operational tasks (cash wrap, POS reconciliation, loss-prevention procedures) while preserving high service levels.
- Adapt floor energy and selling techniques to traffic patterns; manage multiple customers with professionalism.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; provide and receive constructive feedback to support team growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and execute personal sales plans.
- Proficiency with POS operation and basic computing (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS) and familiarity with walkie‑talkie communications.
- Physical capability to lift regularly up to 25 lb and occasionally up to 50 lb; able to climb, bend and manoeuvre within a busy retail environment.
- Strong English language proficiency required; additional languages advantageous.
- Social-media savvy with experience or aptitude for short-form video, live‑stream shopping or video demos and clienteling-driven data capture.
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, public holidays and peak retail periods.
Skills
Experience
Minimum one year of sales experience, preferably within luxury retail or premium brands; demonstrable track record meeting sales targets and using clienteling or omnichannel retail tools.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or tertiary study in retail, fashion, or a related discipline is advantageous. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
