Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute point-of-sale transactions with precision, including cash, card and digital payments, ensuring reconciliation of the cash drawer at every shift.
  • Deliver exceptional, bespoke client service consistent with luxury-brand standards; cultivate client relationships and support clienteling activities and CRM updates.
  • Lead daily store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposit preparation and shift handovers.
  • Coach and mentor junior cashiers and sales associates on transaction accuracy, returns/exchanges, and service protocols to uphold operational excellence.
  • Manage refunds, exchanges and special transaction requests in accordance with company policy while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with loss-prevention and store leadership to identify and mitigate shrinkage and compliance risks.
  • Support visual merchandising standards at the checkout area and ensure point-of-sale collateral and stock levels are maintained.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cash handling and POS operation, with demonstrable accuracy and attention to arithmetic detail.
  • Strong customer-service orientation with experience in a premium or luxury retail environment preferred.
  • Ability to supervise or lead a small team and to train colleagues on transaction procedures and service standards.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of retail cashier or sales experience, preferably within premium or luxury fashion; prior shift-lead or supervisory duties strongly preferred.
