Coach in New York seeks a Temporary Sales Support Associate to assist store operations, client service and merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, client-focused service on the sales floor to uphold Coach’s luxury standards and drive conversions.
- Support store sales associates by greeting clients, managing fitting rooms, and facilitating product selection and styling.
- Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions, returns and exchanges accurately and securely.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards: restock displays, execute floor moves, and ensure product presentation aligns with brand directives.
- Assist with inventory control activities including receiving shipments, restocking, cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Support clienteling initiatives by capturing client details and assisting with follow-up communications when required.
- Participate in loss-prevention protocols and sustain a clean, organized, and secure selling environment.
- Provide flexible coverage for peak periods, promotional events and team absences as directed by store management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further study in retail, fashion or merchandising advantageous.
- Previous retail experience; prior experience with luxury or premium brands preferred.
- Demonstrable customer service skills and a polished, professional demeanour appropriate for a luxury retail environment.
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (if employed in the U.S.).
- Reliable, punctual and able to remain on the sales floor for extended periods.

Entry-level role; 0–2 years of retail experience is acceptable, with preference given to candidates who have worked for luxury or premium brands.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or certificates in retail, visual merchandising or customer service are a plus.
