Coach in New York seeks a Temporary Sales Support Associate — temporary retail role supporting sales, merchandising and inventory at a flagship store.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, brand-appropriate service to clients on the sales floor and at the point of sale, supporting full-time sales staff during peak periods and events.
  • Process transactions, exchanges and returns accurately using the store point-of-sale system and maintain proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Support visual merchandising standards: replenish displays, arrange product presentation, and execute store layouts to brand guidelines.
  • Receive, unpack and organize incoming shipments; assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment and back-room organization.
  • Assist with clienteling activities: follow up on client requests, prepare appointments and support CRM record upkeep as directed.
  • Help maintain fitting rooms and sales floor presentation, ensuring a pristine, luxury retail environment at all times.
  • Participate in loss-prevention measures and report discrepancies, damaged goods or operational issues to store management.
  • Perform light administrative tasks as required (tagging, price checks, preparing parcels for shipping).

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to deliver courteous, client-focused service in a retail or hospitality environment.
  • Comfortable handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
  • Able to follow visual merchandising and brand presentation standards with attention to detail.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and to lift and move merchandise (typical retail requirements).

Experience
