Role & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality client service on the sales floor and via clienteling tools to support conversion and long‑term relationships.
- Process sales transactions, returns and exchanges accurately using point-of-sale systems and maintain cash-handling procedures.
- Support inventory operations: receive, count, replenish stock, and coordinate transfers with the stockroom and operations team.
- Assist with visual merchandising tasks and ensure the sales floor reflects brand standards and seasonal directives.
- Perform administrative tasks including daily sales reporting, client follow-up, appointment scheduling and CRM updates.
- Coordinate with store leadership, merchandising and operations to execute promotions, product launches and events.
- Train and mentor junior sales staff on operational procedures, clienteling best practices and POS usage.
Qualifications
- Proven customer-facing experience in retail, preferably within luxury, premium or fashion brands.
- Proficient numeracy and experience with point-of-sale systems and basic sales reporting.
- Strong verbal communication, clienteling aptitude and the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
- Attention to detail in stock handling, visual standards and transactional accuracy.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of retail or customer service experience, with prior exposure to luxury or premium fashion environments preferred. Demonstrated track record of supporting store operations and delivering consistent client service.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or post-secondary coursework in retail, fashion or business is advantageous.
