Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional client service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor; anticipate needs and provide personalised assistance.
• Operate POS and cash register systems accurately; manage cash/media and maintain cash‑wrap organisation in compliance with company policy.
• Receive, process and organise inbound shipments and store transfers; report discrepancies and maintain an orderly stockroom.
• Manage inventory levels, replenish the sales floor and execute visual merchandising updates to brand standards.
• Promote add‑on products and gift cards; capture customer information where permitted and support local market brand representation, including social media engagement.
• Support sales floor activities and respond to customer requests; collaborate with colleagues and management to meet store objectives.
• Maintain housekeeping standards, adhere to loss prevention guidelines and perform light lifting/physical tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year retail experience (cashier/stock or sales), preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitor marketplace.
• Proven cash handling experience and familiarity with POS/cash register systems.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English proficiency required.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
• Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend and manoeuvre between sales floor and stockroom.

Skills

Experience

At least one year of retail experience preferred, with prior cashier, stockroom or sales responsibilities; experience in a luxury retail setting is an asset.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary studies in retail, fashion or business are considered an asset.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
