Role & Responsibilities

• Greet clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and deliver personalized service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
• Operate POS and Mobile POS systems accurately; handle cash, card and other media in full compliance with company policy.
• Receive, process and organize incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain a tidy, compliant stockroom.
• Replenish floor stock, execute visual merchandising updates and maintain housekeeping standards to brand presentation guidelines.
• Promote add‑on products and gift cards; capture customer information where permitted and support local brand engagement, including social media activity.
• Support Loss Prevention protocols and partner with sales associates and management to resolve customer requests and operational issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of prior retail experience (cashier, stock or sales); luxury retail experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitor activity in the marketplace.
• Proficiency with POS and cash register systems, Mobile POS and tablet devices (iPad); basic computer and Internet literacy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask in a high‑traffic environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and adherence to Loss Prevention procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays; ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Skills

Experience

At least 1 year of retail experience is required; prior experience in luxury retail or premium service environments is strongly preferred. A combination of relevant education and practical experience will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and retail experience accepted.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
