Coach hiring a Temporary Sales Support Associate in Vancouver, BC — part-time role supporting cash wrap, stockroom operations and customer service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly, anticipate needs and deliver personalized service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
  • Operate POS and Mobile POS systems accurately; manage cash/media in compliance with company policy and maintain cash wrap organisation.
  • Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and uphold stockroom cleanliness.
  • Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates to brand standards.
  • Promote add-on products and gift cards; capture customer information where permitted to support CRM initiatives.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in-store and in the local market, including supporting social media engagement when required.
  • Support sales floor activities, respond confidently to customer requests and partner with management to resolve issues.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ year retail experience (cashiering, stockroom or sales), preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive retail landscape.
  • Familiarity with cash register systems and Mobile POS; proficient with basic computer tasks (iPad/laptop, Internet) and use of walkie talkies.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend and manoeuvre in sales and stockroom areas.

Experience

At least one year of retail experience is required, with proven competence in cashiering, stock receiving, merchandising and customer-facing service; prior luxury retail experience is preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
