Coach in Troy, MI seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate to manage cash wrap, inventory, and client service at the Somerset location.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet clients with warmth and professionalism and deliver personalized assistance to enhance the customer experience.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, maintain an organized cash wrap, and process cash, card, and gift card transactions in compliance with company policy.
  • Receive, inspect, process, and organize incoming shipments and interstore transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage inventory levels on the sales floor, replenish merchandise, and execute visual merchandising and display updates as directed.
  • Support the sales floor by responding to customer requests, suggesting add-on products, promoting gift cards, and capturing customer information where permitted.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador in-store and in the local market, supporting social media engagement when requested.
  • Adhere to housekeeping standards and loss prevention guidelines to protect company assets and ensure a safe shopping environment.
  • Collaborate with store leadership and team members to meet service and sales objectives during peak periods and high-traffic events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of retail experience (cashier, stockroom, or sales); luxury or premium retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven proficiency with cash register systems and point-of-sale technology, including Mobile POS and tablet-based platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; able to interact confidently with diverse clientele.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods as business needs require.
  • Ability to lift regularly 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Strong English language proficiency.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
