Role & Responsibilities

• Greet clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and deliver personalised service.
• Operate POS and Mobile POS accurately; maintain cash wrap organisation and handle cash/media in strict compliance with policy.
• Process inbound shipments and transfers; report discrepancies, maintain stockroom cleanliness and manage inventory flow.
• Replenish the sales floor, execute visual merchandising updates and ensure product is presentation-ready.
• Suggest add-on products and promote gift cards; capture customer information where permitted to support clienteling.
• Support sales floor activities and respond to customer requests confidently, partnering with colleagues and management as required.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and observe Loss Prevention guidelines; participate in local brand and social media initiatives as a store ambassador.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year retail experience (cashier, stock, sales); luxury retail experience preferred.
• Current awareness of fashion trends and local competitive landscape.
• Knowledge of cash register systems and POS operations; basic computer proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
• Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend and manoeuvre throughout sales floor and stockroom.

Skills

Experience

At least one year of prior retail experience is required; experience performing cashier and stockroom duties in a luxury or high-service retail environment is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
