Coach seeks a Temporary Sales Support Associate to support daily store operations and customer service at the Washington Square location in Tigard, Oregon. This role encompasses cash wrap management, product receiving and inventory control, sales floor maintenance, and customer assistance—essential to delivering the brand's commitment to service excellence. The ideal candidate combines retail experience with strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, peak-season retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and providing personalized service
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and payment media in compliance with company policy
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization
- Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates and maintenance
- Suggest add-on products and gift cards to enhance customer transactions and capture customer information where permitted
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests confidently, and partner with team members and management as needed
- Maintain brand ambassador presence internally and in the local market; support social media engagement initiatives
- Uphold housekeeping and loss prevention standards throughout the store and stockroom
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of previous retail experience in cashier, stock, or sales roles, preferably in a luxury retail service environment
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive market landscape
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad, laptop, mobile POS, and internet navigation
- Ability to read and interpret price sheets, product release sheets, and utilize walkie-talkie communication
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Capacity to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; capable of climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment. Experience in cashier operations, stock management, or sales is essential. Familiarity with fashion retail, product knowledge, and customer-facing transactions is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent; a combination of relevant education and practical retail experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
