Coach seeks a Sales Support Associate to deliver exceptional in-store operations and customer service at its Sunbury retail location. This role encompasses cash wrap management, POS operations, inventory handling, and visual merchandising to support the store's overall efficiency and brand standards. The ideal candidate combines strong customer service acumen with operational excellence, thriving in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipate needs, and provide personalized assistance throughout their shopping experience
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and media in compliance with company policy
- Process incoming shipments and transfers, report discrepancies, and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization
- Manage stock levels, replenish sales floor inventory, and execute visual merchandising updates to enhance product presentation
- Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted to drive sales
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and externally, supporting social media engagement and local market presence
- Respond to customer requests with confidence and professionalism, partnering with team members and management as needed
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere to loss prevention guidelines
- Lift regularly up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), and manage physical demands of sales floor and stockroom responsibilities
Qualifications
- One or more years of previous retail experience, including cashier, stock, or sales roles, preferably in a luxury retail service environment
- Strong English language proficiency and excellent verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with cash register systems, iPad, laptop, mobile POS, and internet applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
- Ability to read and understand price sheets and product release documentation
Skills
Experience
One or more years of retail experience, including cashier, stock, or sales roles. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional education or relevant retail certifications a plus.

This position is based in Sunbury, Ohio, USA, within easy reach of Columbus.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
