Role & Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional client service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor; anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized assistance.
- Operate POS and Mobile POS devices accurately; manage cash/media and maintain cash wrap organisation in compliance with company policy.
- Receive, process and organise inbound shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and stock integrity.
- Replenish sales floor inventory, execute visual merchandising updates and support promotional displays to maintain brand standards.
- Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards and capture customer information where permitted to support sales and CRM activities.
- Support day-to-day sales floor operations, respond to customer requests confidently and partner with peers and management to meet store objectives.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics.
- Proven ability to operate cash register systems and Mobile POS; basic computer literacy (iPad, laptop, internet) and familiarity with handheld radios/walkie talkies.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume retail environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Physical capability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling and climbing.

At least one year of prior retail experience is required, ideally with hands-on cashier and stockroom responsibilities in a luxury or premium-fashion retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

The successful candidate will be located in Somerville, Massachusetts, USA, with easy access to Boston.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
