Coach Sales Support Associate, Skokie, Illinois – Luxury retail customer service and store operations role at Old Orchard.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipate their needs, and provide personalized assistance throughout their shopping experience
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and media in strict compliance with company policy
- Suggest complementary products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information in accordance with privacy guidelines
- Receive, process, and organize incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization
- Monitor and manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor with merchandise, and execute visual merchandising updates as directed
- Support all sales floor activities, respond confidently to customer inquiries, and collaborate with team members and management as needed
- Serve as an internal and external brand ambassador; actively support social media engagement initiatives
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and strictly adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of previous retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment (cashier, stock, or sales roles)
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive retail landscape
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS systems, and internet platforms
- Ability to read and interpret price sheets, product release sheets, and utilize two-way communication devices
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 pounds regularly (up to 50 pounds occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas
Skills
Experience
Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably within a luxury retail service environment. Experience in cashier operations, stock management, or sales roles is valued. A combination of relevant education and practical experience may be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and retail experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
