Coach is hiring a part-time Sales Support Associate in San Marcos, TX — customer-facing role managing POS, inventory and merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and deliver personalised service at the cash wrap and across the sales floor.
- Operate POS systems accurately, handle cash/media in accordance with policy, and maintain an organised cash wrap.
- Receive, process and organise shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organisation.
- Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising and display updates to brand standards.
- Promote add-on items and gift cards, capture permitted customer information, and support local brand representation including social media engagement as directed.
- Support loss prevention protocols and maintain housekeeping standards across sales and back-of-house areas.
- Partner with sales associates and management to respond to customer requests and drive daily store operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashiering, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment; combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Current awareness of fashion trends and competitive market activity.
- Familiarity with cash register systems and point-of-sale operations; basic computer literacy including use of iPad/laptop and internet.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational aptitude, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; proficient in English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasonal periods and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending and kneeling.

Experience
At least one year of retail experience is required; prior exposure to cashiering, stockroom operations or luxury retail is strongly preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and retail experience accepted.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in San Marcos, Texas, USA, with easy access to Austin.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
