Coach Sales Support Associate, Part-Time in Sacramento, California | $15–$19.50/hr | Luxury retail sales and operations
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipate their needs, and provide personalized assistance tailored to their preferences
- Operate the POS system accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and media in compliance with company policy
- Suggest complementary products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information in accordance with brand guidelines
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers, reporting discrepancies and maintaining stockroom cleanliness and organization
- Manage inventory levels, replenish the sales floor with merchandise, and execute visual merchandising updates to enhance product presentation
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and in the local community, supporting social media engagement and brand awareness initiatives
- Support all sales floor activities, respond to customer requests with confidence, and collaborate with team members and management
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere to all Loss Prevention guidelines and security protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of previous retail experience in cashier, stock, or sales roles, preferably within a luxury retail environment
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive market landscape
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and exemplary customer service orientation
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
Skills
Experience
Minimum one year of retail experience in a customer-facing or operational role, preferably within a luxury retail service environment. Experience with cash register operations, inventory management, or stock coordination is highly valued. Familiarity with fashion retail, brand standards, and upscale customer service expectations is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of retail experience and relevant coursework may be considered in lieu of formal education.
