Coach Sales Support Associate, part-time position in Richmond, BC. CAD $18.25–$21.50/hr. Retail operations in luxury fashion.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and provide personalized assistance
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and externally; support social media engagement initiatives
- Operate POS accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and media in compliance with company policy
- Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness
- Manage stock levels, replenish sales floor inventory, and execute visual merchandising updates
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests confidently, and partner with team and management as needed
- Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines
- Lift regularly at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally); climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
Qualifications
- 1+ year of previous retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably in a luxury retail service environment
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet
- Ability to utilize walkie talkie communication systems
- Ability to read and understand price sheets and product release documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical capability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
1 year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail or customer service environment. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail or customer service coursework is a plus.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, with easy access to Vancouver.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.25 to CAD 21.50 per hour.
