Role & Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and delivering personalized service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
• Operate POS and Mobile POS systems accurately; manage cash/media in strict compliance with company policy and maintain an organized cash wrap.
• Receive, process and organize incoming shipments and inter-store transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and inventory accuracy.
• Replenish sales floor stock, execute visual merchandising updates and support store presentation standards.
• Promote add-on products and gift cards, capture customer information where permitted, and support local brand presence including social media engagement.
• Support loss prevention procedures, maintain housekeeping standards and assist teammates or management with operational tasks during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of retail experience (cashier, stock or sales), preferably within luxury or premium retail.
• Working knowledge of cash register systems and Mobile POS; able to use iPad, laptop and internet-enabled devices.
• Current awareness of fashion trends and competitor activity in the local market.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
• Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; must be able to climb, bend and maneuver throughout the sales floor and stockroom.

Skills

Experience

At least 1+ year of retail experience, ideally in a luxury or premium retail environment; combinations of relevant education and experience will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary studies in retail, fashion, or customer service are an asset.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
