Coach in Palo Alto seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate to operate POS, manage inventory and assist clients in-store.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipate needs, and deliver personalized service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
  • Operate POS and Mobile POS devices accurately; handle cash/media and reconcile transactions in compliance with company policy.
  • Receive, process, organize and report discrepancies for shipments and transfers; maintain stockroom organization and cleanliness.
  • Manage inventory levels, restock and replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates as directed.
  • Support sales floor activities by responding to customer requests, suggesting add-on items and gift cards, and capturing customer information where permitted.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador in-store and within the local market; support in-store social media engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards, adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines, and perform physical tasks including lifting and merchandising.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stockroom or sales), preferably within luxury retail; combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of cash register systems and POS operations; comfortable using iPad, Mobile POS, laptop and walkie talkie.
  • Current awareness of fashion trends and marketplace competitors.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English proficiency.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend and maneuver within sales floor and stockroom.

Experience

Minimum one year of retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales). Experience in a luxury retail environment is preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
