Coach in Oxon Hill, MD seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate to staff the National Harbor boutique and deliver exceptional client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, professional client service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor, anticipating needs and providing personalized assistance.
  • Operate POS systems and Mobile POS with accuracy; maintain cash wrap organization and handle cash/media in accordance with company policy.
  • Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain a clean, efficient stockroom.
  • Manage stock levels and replenish the sales floor; support visual merchandising updates and housekeeping standards.
  • Promote add-on products and gift cards; capture customer information where permitted and suggest complementary items to increase sales.
  • Support store loss prevention policies and respond to customer requests promptly; collaborate with colleagues and management to meet store objectives.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in-store and support local market initiatives including social media engagement when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of retail experience (cashiering, stockroom, or sales), preferably within a luxury retail or premium service environment; combination of education and experience accepted.
  • Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitor activity.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
  • Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend and kneel as required.

Experience

At least 1 year of prior retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales roles). Experience in luxury retail or an elevated customer-service environment is preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
